Want to get healthy!
I'm Kristie, and I live in Redlands, California with my wonderful husband and 4 cats. I'm looking to start a healthy lifestyle that will keep me active and healthy so that I can look and feel great! Growing up, I was naturally thin, but when I hit my late 20's, my weight started to be more of a struggle. I have managed to stay within a reasonable weight, but I would like to lose about 8 lbs, and firm everything up! Also, heart disease and diabetes run rampant in my family, so I want to do ...

Growing up, I was naturally thin, but when I hit my late 20's, my weight started to be more of a struggle. I have managed to stay within a reasonable weight, but I would like to lose about 8 lbs, and firm everything up! Also, heart disease and diabetes run rampant in my family, so I want to do everything I can to stay healthy as long as possible. I am vegetarian. Would like to go vegan, but cheese and icecream/frozen yogurt are my weaknesses (along with chocolate!). I am trying to eat a more "whole food," plant based diet.

My Goals:
To lose approximately 8 pounds but more importantly to lower my body fat %.
My Program:
1. Cardio 5-6 days/week for 30 min or more 2. Weight training 3 days a week 3. Staying within my calorie range by eating lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean protein, plenty of water, and not mindlessly eating in the evening or using emotional eating to deal with emotions.
