Goals Aren't For Sissies!

I am a 41-year old mother of five. I am a sugar addict and am working towards healing my body of that addiction. I have lost about 30 lbs and would like to lose another 20 or so.

I have had intestinal issues for many, many years. About 10 years ago, I had my entire large intestine removed. Now I eat low carb and gluten free and finally feel better!

In 2014, my goal is to get my body fat percentage down to 20%. I am starting 2014 at 31% body fat.

My Goals:
1) weigh around 130 lbs & 20% body fat. I'm 5'9".
2) wear size 6 clothes comfortably
3) exercise consistently without having to "work on it"
4) feel like I look amazing, toned, slim and confident!
5) enjoy life.

My Program:
I eat very low carb and am gluten free. For exercise, I love to do Pilates, kettlebells, and I love my Fitbit!

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Other Information:
I love to read, learn about nutrition, crochet, hang out with my children and husband, and be outdoors (especially at the pool).

I am also struggling with digestive issues. So far, it has not gotten better, but I've seen a lot of improvement on other issues, so I have not lost hope. There are always more things to try later.

I'm slowly working up to averaging 10,000 steps a day myself. I've progressed on that faster than I thought I would. Just the start of 2014, I couldn't even comfortably walk 1 mile. I'm averaging 7000/8000 steps per day currently.

Good luck! Beating sugar addiction is hard. I feel like it will always be a daily struggle.
