I am 45 years old and have really let myself go. I am motivateud to make small changes in order to get healthy. I have 162 pounds to lose, so I am in this for the long haul. My down fall is sweets and soda pop (the real stuff) and I am not crazy about exercise. I have recently purchased a Gazelle Glider (the one with resistance bars) and when that is delivered (It has arrived) I plan on starting my exercising routine (I have, starting at 10 mins a day). I am trying to implement small changes, like drinking water, staying within my calorie budget, eliminating soda pop etc. This is hard but doable. It has to be done. My knees are killing me.

My Goals:
In March of 2015 my family will be going to Maui. I really want to be able to travel without needing a seatbelt extension and I would like to not feel so self conscious on the beach.

My Program:
-drink 6 glasses of water
-eat 5 fruits / veggies
-Ideal shake for breakfast
-Exercise on gazelle glider working up to 30 mins 4 x's / week by June. (Doing 10 mins / day right now increasing gradually. )
-do my best every day to make
Healthy Choices, but forgive
Myself quickly for slips and move on.

Ultimate Goal!!! Long way to go -

Smaller Goals -
30 Pounds - June 25, 2014 Weight = 298 pounds.

75 Pounds - Nov. 25, 2014
Weight = 255 pounds

110 Pounds - March 25, 2015! Weight = 220 pounds.




Other Information:
I love my family - I am married to a wonderful man and have two wonderful boys. We love animals - we have four dogs, a cat, two bunnies, we raise game birds for hunting clubs and my youngest son has a rat! We love hatching our birds and raising them. My husband and youngest son are avid hunters and fisherman, and we all love our big family get togethers. I want to lose weight to improve my quality of life and be able to be more active with my family.

Happened across one of your posts and saw that you and I are nearly the same weight. I started at 341 and am down to 313. I'm hoping to lose about 120lbs in a year. I just wanted to say hello and wish you luck. :)

My big energy burst only lasted for a few hours, but the good thing here is that I got a clean house out of it.

I guess I could put up with one of these per month, but wish I could schedule them in to suit me better. lol
