I've only tried one intermediate program and it was 5/3/1. I liked it and will probably go back to it when I'm done milking linear progress. A close second for me was the Texas Method. It's pretty likely if you use any of the well documented, widely used intermediate programs that you'll do well. The key is finding one that fits you best as well as your goals and life obstacles.
I liked 5/3/1 because during sports seasons I could ratchet down to the "not doing jack sh1t" template and be in and out. During the off season I did the "boring but big". 1347 days ago
