A little bit about me :

My name is Lacy and I am 27 years old. I love spending time with my fiance, as well as, fishing, cooking, spending time at home, researching health and fitness, exercising (when I am motivated), watching QVC, going to the spa to pamper myself, shopping, reading true crime books, and spending time outdoors when the weather is nice.

I joined Sparkpeople to get fit, stay healthy, and help keep me motivated to stick with my goals! I am a fanatic about researching health and fitness, but when it comes right down to it.... I sometimes don't follow through with some of the stuff I want to achieve like-EXERCISING!! LOL :)

For the most part, I eat really healthy and exercise when I feel motivated, but there are times where I slack and can't stick with my routine. I work an hour away from home, so the drive to and from work can be extremely draining. I get really motivated on the weekends, but when the work week comes back around, I tend to get lazy. So, I am hoping with some motivation from you guys and reading all the great stuff this website has to offer, I can get into a routine that I can stick with.

My Goals:
My goal is to start a routine that I will actually stick with. I would love to exercise on a regular basis!! I do pretty well for the most part, but need motivation to get my butt up and get moving more than once or twice a week which is where I am at right now. I have the body, but I want it to be ripped..abs, legs, and arms.

My Program:
Right now, I am exercising 1 to 3 times a week. I need to bump it up a little. For exercise, I enjoy work out videos, strength training, walking, and yoga! Also, I do all of this at home because I live in the boonies and there is no gym around.

Personal Information:
I live in Virginia with my wonderful Fiance. We are getting married April 2014!! I cannot wait to marry him. He is my very best friend in life. I am so incredibly grateful I have him in my life. He was in a terrible automobile accident in July 2013 that almost took his life. Luckily, the only thing he is recovering from now is a broken ankle from the accident. He is very used to being an active guy and this has held him back over the past 6 months. He still goes to physical therapy for it twice a week. I just hope that it heals completely and he can get back to his active lifestyle. He is a real trooper and the best guy a girl could ask for. So patient and kind. If I could get some prayers our way that would be wonderful. I am so lucky to still have him in my life.

Other Information:
I love reading fitness magazines like Self and Fitness to get health tips on how to eat right. I also like to rip out the exercise routines and place them in a binder and do at home exercises! My weakness is red wine and lattes!

Good luck on your goals! Try to find something to get moving today :) I've been lacking in motivation (mainly due to my body not being used to all this activity which makes me tired) but I use my big dog as my walking buddy to get me to hit the pavement! I know you can do it!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!! I have already been super bad today :(

I started my morning off with bacon, eggs, and toast with butter. Then I got into the candy at work.

Tomorrow is a new day!!!
