ACTIVITIES/SCHEDULING
-I guide my energy into activities I love doing and bring me pleasure
-I allow myself as much variety in the day as I can

SINGING:
-Continue to decrease the link between my self-worth and singing
-Experiment with the balance of singing and performing with ambition and LIFE
-Sing with my guitar to nurture me and tips
-Sing 20 minutes a day 5-6 days out of the week with pre-and post-session

Singing Guidelines:
*Sing what appeals to me at the moment and follow my instincts in the session
*Avoid excessive repetition (more than 3x)
*Enjoy singing with novelty, variety and sense of adventure and exploration
*Sing from moment to moment
*Use the mirror whenever possible

CAREER:
*Develop product for business and test
*Sing and play guitar for tips
*View tutorials on CS4

NUTRITION
-I track food eaten in my food tracker and maintain a 1500-2100 calorie range 7 days a week
-I choose nutrient rich and healthy foods to eat
-I eat every 2-3 hours but small portions and try to pair a protein with every meal
-I choose clean eating whenever possible

EXERCISE
-I find variety in my work-outs - MOST IMPORTANT!
-I am committed to strength training at home 2 times a week
-I track exercise in the fitness tracker
-I move my body everyday several times a day but vary intensity
-I continue my commitment to BIKRAM yoga class 4-6 times a week - vary position in the room, studios and teachers
-I jump rope for high intensity
-I enjoy my Tai Chi and Qigong DVD's
-I enjoy trying sparkpeople videos
-I use my heart rate monitor to gauge progress and calories burned
-I monitor my progress by measuring, weighing and Body Fat Analysis

OTHER
-Early to bed, early to rise
-Journal
-Read a fiction book for enjoyment
-Browse through photos
-Play the guitar
-Add to MY HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY LIST
-I will do what brings me pleasure that is good for me


MY HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY LIST:
I am most happy and full of joy when...
-the smell of pine trees is in the air
-the christmas decorations are up
-when the house is organized and clean
-fun time spent with my sister
-dancing around to music
-walking
-before, during and after a bikram yoga class
-waking up to a clean house and time to journal and do something that heals and replenishes me
-by the fire knitting
-getting dressed up to go to the movies and going with my sweetie
-riding my scooter
-watching a sunset
-singing with a sense of exploration to see what I can do with my voice
-singing french music - ooh, la, la
-exploring a scene and realizing it on the stage
-learning how to speak a language and practicing speaking it with someone
-hiking in the woods and smelling pine trees and needles and swooshing leaves around with my feet
-looking up at the stars
-getting together with my friends
-having friends over to my home
-making and baking delicious and healthy food
-making and giving a gift to someone I love
-playing the guitar for fun
-writing poems
-listening to music with a score or the words in front of me
-listening to live music
-singing recitals where I choose the music I love to share
-sharing what I have learned
-attending a Shakespeare & Company play
-sitting in a hot tub
-walking around naked in my house
-getting a massage
-getting an acupuncture treatment
-learning about alternative medicine and healthy lifestyles
-vacationing
-trying on and buying clothes that fit
-when it's easy to keep my house clean
-when my home is always presentable to guests
-when I am doing a variety of things in a day
-when I allow myself time
-really doing anything I consider "adventurous" - riding my scooter, kayaking, hiking
-helping someone meet their goals or inspiring someone to make a goal and take steps to achieve it
-knowing I have money in the bank
-deep conversations
-finding truth and sharing it with others
-moving my body
-in candlelight
-seeing the beauty in someone and sharing that with them
-the act of painting
-free time in the library, research


One of my sparkfriends wrote this recently and it speaks to me more than the quote I used to have posted here at the end - so here it is:

See, I don’t just want a trim body or thin thighs
I want a life so breathtakingly rich I can’t believe it is mine

Even if it is just at myself

To dance around my inner balance

Because I know I gave my best effort

And move through time with intention and purpose

Personal Information:
I eliminated 70 pounds from my body already using the tools on this website, but it has become so much more than weight loss. I am peeling off the now unnecessary layers that have shielded and protected the real me. This has been a journey of self-discovery and continues to be so.
