Just a lady bugging to feel at home in her body!

I have struggled with my weight since middle school and have bounced all around the scale from the 130s to 245. I am married, have 2 kids and have been a full time home maker for the last 8 years. I just returned to school for my degree and wish to get stronger and drop some weight before the interview that determines if I get into my program. I look forward to being small enough to run again ( ran a marathon a couple years ago when I discovered I love to run!).

You can look at a mountain as a wild place of beauty to view or paint or photograph from a safe distance; or a wild place capable of destruction like Mount St. Helens. Or you can look at it as a wild challenge that you take on one step at a time. When you begin the challenge you'll have no idea how long it will take to get to the top, but you know you will with the support of your team.

Thanks for the friend add. Sounds like we have followed a lot of the same path. My weight has bounced around since I was a kid. As an adult it has ranged from a "normal" 165lbs to recently 263 lbs. I am approaching 20 lbs lost since January 3rd.

I am a stay at home dad but looking for work. I have been home since our second daughter was 3 months old, into the 4th year of this. I did the school thing also and just got my B.A. in December. Good luck to you with your new healthy goals and your education.
