Working on healthy living.
Introductions are important, so let me give you the juicy bits first: I'm 27, I live in Ohio (in a place some won't travel, but we have a beautiful park!) and I love animals, nature, reading, ART, and I'm really working on consistently loving myself. It can be a hard thing to do when you get into the habit of negative thinking. But enough on that for now.... My Body's History: I'm extra tall for a woman...unless I was Scandinavian, which I'm not! I'm a mutt of Irish, English, German & Welsh breeding, American-born. I'm also a mix of mesomorph/endomorph somatotype(body type/shape) so I'm strong and can gain/tone muscle somewhat easily, but also I can put on the lbs pretty quickly too, if I'm not careful! I've had 2 children and show the marks of it, 'nuff said. That doesn't bother me so much, and I'm not striving for a body that would show anything less...it takes a strong body to put out big healthy babies! I would just like there to be a little less proof, hehe! That being said, I'm also done having children! Done done done! Maybe I would foster someday, I dunno....anyway, before I get off-topic: Now is the time to focus on my health, before anything else falls off. I just want to be fit, more than caring about what number the scale says. When you're 6' tall and a girl, you learn in Jr. Highschool to forget about weighing 105-120 lbs, or whatever ridiculous numbers the other girls would gripe about. Perspective, perspective, perspective. So yeah, I was a little heavier and not so athletically-inclined for much of my youth, got a taste of being fit when I was an adolescent and fell.in.love! So I'm trying to replicate that happy-time, or at least something close to the way my body felt. Hopefully even better! Oh, I mentioned I have 2 kids. Well, my youngest has been diagnosed Autistic with Developmental Delays. It's been hard, but we're all surviving....heck we're even trying to thrive!

My Goals:
Goal #1: Quit Smoking Cigarettes! ~ Goal Accomplished 3-12-09! Goal #2: Get fit! I'm taking the scale out of the equation, and learning to not give a damn about the number because it causes more stress than it's ever worth. Goal #3: Live art, Love art, consistently and Everyday. Goal #4: Last but absolutely NOT least, help my daughters to grow, thrive and learn everyday.
My Program:
I'm not sure how to describe it, but I sure do need to get with it. You know. The program. (LOL) Seriously though, I'm still trying to develop consistency with anything right now. I am trying to find a way to make a routine of any sort work within my chaotic life. So I do the best I can to make as many healthy choices as possible, everyday.
