It is important to me to keep my weight in check without losing perspective or my sense of self. )O(

My Goals:
A lot has changed in the three years I've been on Spark People. At first, my goal was to maintain my healthy lifestyle.

For reasons explained below, my current goals are these:
I would like to be able to carry laundry without getting winded (80% to goal). I would like to be physically able to help my Mom (80% to goal). I would ~love~ to be able to re-attempt to learn to sail (DONE!! :D )!

My Program:
I generally lead a healthy lifestyle: vegan, whole foods, exercise, lots of water, etc.

My weight, body fat percentage, BMI, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, etc. have always been within the healthy range. However, since my surgery, it has been a much harder job keeping my weight in check.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Current Exercise Program:
I am working in as much exercise as my doctors will allow, and experimenting to find the balance between too much and too little.
Current Eating Program:
Continuing with vegan whole foods. Eating 6 mini-meals a day. (Kind of like a Hobbit! :) )
Personal Information:
Over a year ago, I had surgery for endometriosis (they removed a bowling ball of endo, several organs, and hysterectomy).
Because of my extended hospital stay (due to complications) and lengthy recovery, I am working on adding activity back into my life slowly and safely. However, housework needs to be done, my Mom is moving and ill, etc.
It's been a rough road, but I am determined to regain my health and stamina, and I feel that SparkPeople is a great place to do it! :)
Other Information:
You *are* beautiful just the way you are. Right now, not just after the weight loss. Yes, I mean *you*, the person reading my homepage right now! :)
Oh your welcome, I was cleaning out my page and putting some in the Room of Requirement (as Annie calls it) and you just went running in there without a backwards glance..............................so I trudged right in and pulled you right back out............................. emoticon
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Oh, and I forgot to thank you for the goodie.
I actually bought a new pair of skis yesterday (in fact, three pairs: one for classic cross-country skiing, and 2 for downhill skiing, one for me and one for my partner! We're only supposed to buy downhill skis for DH, but they had amazing prices I couldn't resist, and my skis were very old and really needed to be changed.)
Snowshoeing is great too, that what I do with my father as he doesn't really like x country skiing.
Once you exercise, you don't feel the low temperatures. I'm usually in a sweat when I ski.
