My word for this year is Commit. I am committing myself this year to get healthier than I have been in a long time. Last year I worked on getting in my steps and eating healthier. This year I'm going to commit to doing even better. By the end of 2014, I was getting in 3,000+ steps every day. In 2015, I'm committing to improving on those steps. In January, I am committing to 4,000+ steps and each month going forward, I am committing to improve on that. Fitness is very important, but so is eating healthy. I'm committing to eating more fruits and veggies this year. I'm committing to trying new fruits and veggies.
My main goal is to lose this weight and get off my diabetes and high blood pressure medications.
I want to be healthier for not only myself but my son.
I want to do all the things I have not been able to do in years such as ride a bike and go to an amusement park.
I want to be able to wear blue jeans again.
I am not on a diet. I am on a healthy lifestyle. I am eating healthy foods, avoiding sugar,
lowering carbs, exercising, and drinking 12 glasses of water.
My name is Lainie. I'm 57 years old. I just recently moved to the San Diego, CA area. My son got a job in San Diego and wanted me to go with him. Luckily, I work from home and was able to move there with him. I'm divorced and I have a 25 year old son.
