You are so sweet! Thanks for the note! Ankle is doing great!!! But...now my left knee is giving me issues. Ugh...always something. But I've had issues with this knee since BEFORE my big accident. Ortho told me way back then that the cartilage is soft and sometimes activity just overdoes it....and the reason is because I'm a woman and I'm getting older. Lovely. His only advice was ice and ibuprofen. Ha! It's not nearly as bad as my ankle, though. So I'm very thankful!
I put together a training schedule for the next year and I thought the best plan would be to do swimming, spinning and strength training until February (keep me off my ankle and give it plenty of time to heal.) I have my half marathon on Oct. 20th and was going to take two weeks off after that to do nothing and to just recover. Then, my year of training begins first of November.
Assuming my knee cooperates, I hope to do spinning 3 times a week from November through February. I'll tell you what...if I don't lose weight doing that, I don't know WHAT will get rid of those pounds!!!!
How are YOU doing, lady???? I hope you are well!!! Have a wonderful weekend! 2021 days ago

Thank you for the boost on my blog. Girl, you have done so well so far! Keep up the fantastic work. Over halfway to your goal! And your 5K is behind you with grace, dignity, and success despite speed bumps that tried to get in your way.
Keep your pace measured and persistent, and you will be at your goal with style in no time at all.
