I am a 28 year old who is still battling the bulge! In the summer of 2009, I weighed just shy of 300lbs...300lbs!!! After a couple of years of yo-yo dieting and feeling like I was really becoming a lost cause, I decided I had to make some serious changes before I hit rock bottom. Long story short, I started off with a goal of losing 130lbs, and now I have 66lbs to go! I am currently training for my first 5K this fall- I'm up to 2mi :) And, my goal for the fall is to weigh in under 200lbs... ...

It took me a while to get to the a place where I was focused and motivated enough to keep myself moving foward, regardless of life's situation, but now that I'm here, I plan to stay!
