I'm Going for Gold.

I am Lane. I'm from Dallas, Texas, but I currently live in Lapeer, Michigan with my boyfriend of 8 years. I have a wonderful cat named Evee.

Although I've been on this site for a few years, I just now started using it on July 2, 2012. I finally made my solemn vow to never be heavy again, and I'm sticking to it. I'm hoping this site will help me with support I need in losing weight since I'm the only one in the house who's dieting.

Update 5/29/13:
It's been almost 11 months, and I've lost 43 pounds. My boyfriend is watching his weight now, but I wouldn't say he's on a diet. I have a new Christmas goal of 200 pounds. I'm going to try really hard to achieve it.

Update 2/2/14:
The holidays tripped me up a little, but I'm back to steadily losing. I've lost 68 pounds so far!!! I'm getting married in June and I'm trying to look my best.

Yay sushi bar!

I'm going to go through my old clothes and see if there's anything you might like and try to squeeze it in. I'm only bringing a carry-on so space is limited, but I'm sure we can do it!

The only thing is I'm probably going to need a nap at some point when I get ther on Sunday, considering I get off work at 12am and have to go straight to the airport for seven hours of travel. But I think a belly full of sushi will energize me right up, haha!

I'm so ready to get there and see you!

Yay for the wi-fi! Unfortunately I don't have a laptop, but I'm sure if my smartphone can't handle it, one of your desktops can.

And believe me... sister pictures (plural) are on my to-do list! I'm so excited! :D
