I'm Diane, also known as Rissa. I am on disability for bipolar and other issues, but I help out my local DBSA chapter as the secretary. It's the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. I try and walk are least a couple miles a day with my latest record being 7.71 miles in a day! I can't wait until I can run again.. I used to run Cross-Country and was doing 5k's on hills in 33 minutes. I live in Los Angeles where I grew up. I managed to maintain my weight in 2016, but in the 230's. My goal in 2017 will be to see the scale go down and stay down. I'm going to walk more, and want to finally do an official 5k. I can't see Onderland, but I want to get there by the end of the year. I have been stuck in the 230's for over a year, getting as low as 231 and as high as 239. I am in the Cloverleafs for the Summer 5% Challenge, and they have motivated me and helped me get into the low 230's and hopefully by the end of the challenge I will be finally under 230 again! I did get as low as 211, but I have backslid. My highest weight was in the 280's, so I have lost over 50 pounds with Spark People!

I would like to be in the 160 pound range, and to be able to run a 5k again. My ultimate goal is to do a marathon.

My Program:
I have been working on eating low sugar and low calorie things... the doctor said my blood sugar is borderline diabetes and I have a fatty liver, I'm hoping they go away as I get closer to my goal.
