I'm Lauren. I'm 20 and I'm a cat-lady in training. I enjoy cupcakes a little too much (yeah, looking at you Sprinkles cupcakes), which is why I'm here.

My main goal right now is to lose at LEAST 10 pounds before my boyfriend and I jet off to Paris on my 21st birthday. Can't be feeling chubby around all those lithe Parisians!

We're thinking of doing a juice cleanse by replacing two meals with nutrient-dense cold-pressed juices, then eating a healthy third meal to maximize the weight-loss and fine-tuning of our digestive systems, which are clogged with In N Out and other glorious delicacies of Los Angeles.

Also, I'm looking for a sense of community, which this site seems to have. I don't have any girlfriends to talk to about weight loss and shizz, so if you want to be my new best friend, hit me up and we'll chat :)

So, there: cardio + community = success

My Goals:
- Lose 10-15 pounds

- Tone muscle, especially my arms and abs

- Run every day, even if only for 20 minutes

- Make some badass friends who don't need food to have fun :)


My Program:
- Running/jogging/walking (basically, cardio for at least an hour) every day

- Count calories

- Allow one cheat day once in a while (within reason)

- Tennis twice a week (which is a normal routine anyway)



Personal Information:
Currently living in LA with my boyfriend. We have two cats and we collect old books, typewriters, and tennis rackets.

I proofread scripts, then write in my free time.



Other Information:
My contact lenses always seem dirty.

I like pie.

    if youre just starting to run, id highly recommend the couch-to-5k (or c25k) program. it slowly builds you up from being a non-runner into being able to run a 5k. there are many sites/podcasts/apps apps for it. also make sure youre running properly - i wasted nearly a month with shinsplints before finally figuring out that i was doing things completely wrong - wrong shoes, wrong form, everything. made a WORLD of difference!
