Same Site, I am back and I am a new me!

I began my journey with this site in 2009! I have been in and out several times with the same goal in mind, lose at least 90 pounds! I have had a few surgeries since I have been on here last! A Cyst removed from my left ovary in July 2010, followed in Oct 2010 removing old hardware from a 2 level fusion in 1997, followed by two SI Joint Surgeries, one in the fall of 2010...one in Feb of 2011... and lets sum up with a right shoulder surgery to include right carpel tunnel wrist surgery last ...
I began my journey with this site in 2009! I have been in and out several times with the same goal in mind, lose at least 90 pounds! I have had a few surgeries since I have been on here last! I am still recovering to date.

By the end of 2010 I weighed in at 236! The heaviest I have ever been!! I was mortified but motivated sooooo.....I used portion control for my food and lots and lots of water and then I started walking daily, just walking. 3000 steps a day I told myself, just 3000 steps a day! And I lost weight, I lost 50 pounds!!! I was down to 186 for about a minute!! Yup a minute! That's about how I remember it, now it is 2013 and I am weighing in at 198! I could beat myself up or I could remember SparkPeaple!!! I chose this site and the friends that I made!! And my trusted old friend "my treadmill", maybe this year I will give it a name. It will have to be a great name as it has been with me for thick and thin!!!

I love, love, love the generosity of this company. I have been motivated by it for several years now, online and on my own!!! Weight loss is the only way I can show my gratitude to SparkPeople that their generosity is not in vain. I need to give back in pounds, so here goes. I now have about 60 pounds to lose. Again, I will lose them "one day at a time".
