Nearing the finish line...

Update, May 19, 2013: Getting ready to run my first 5k on June 8th and also nearing my final goal every day. I'm constantly perfecting a sustainable way to stay healthy without hours of difficult cardio several days a week. Unprocessed, whole foods (mostly vegetables) and strength training are key!

I joined a gym in late November 2006, and started SparkPeople in the beginning of January 2007. I lost the first 50 pounds very quickly and 30 more after going vegan. I've avoided all meat and dairy products for about five years now, and I feel great! I've been maintaining 190 pounds for over two years. I'd like to burn another 20-30 pounds and build some muscle.
