My Goals:
Fall 5% Challenge: Lose 5% of current weight, which means my goal this challenge is to lose 7.69 pounds.

My Program:
One pound a week - slow but sure. Keep on keepin' on ... 60 minutes a day of exercise, clean and healthy eating. I MUST learn to not binge eat when I'm tired or stressed. "If it isn't hunger, then FOOD won't fix it."

Personal Information:
Retired. Love gardening, cooking and music. Getting out for my four-mile daily walks is a joy in the sunshine. Not so much joy in cold weather! Three grandkids nearby, so they are here often. Those are times I find it hard to stay on track.

Other Information:
This is my 4th challenge and I found the first three to be SO helpful in my weight loss journey that I'm now hooked. Thank you Spark People!

Thanks for your kind welcome to the team! I agree, it's nice to see another West Coast person - the last two challenges I did, I always felt like I was trailing everyone with my late posts because they were all east coast-ers and I needed to get my exercise in after work ;P
