The Goal Isn't To Be skinny...

Its to be healthy! I have always been a big girl. Since I was a child I had a belly and somewhat over weight. I will never be skinny. I will always have slightly bigger built body and I am fine with that. My goal isn’t to be skinny. Its to be healthy. To be strong. To eat better. To be more active.

Its to be healthy! I have always been a big girl. Since I was a child I had a belly and somewhat over weight. I will never be skinny. I will always have slightly bigger built body and I am fine with that. My goal isn’t to be skinny. Its to be healthy. To be strong. To eat better. To be more active.

So here I am working on myself. Kind of working the food stuff out with not only me but my husband too. I use fitness blender for work outs. I found them years ago, but I have not really stuck with a program. Now I have a few programs food and work out that they offer. So far it’s a change in progress and its been nice.

I currently weigh 247 pounds. The highest weight I have ever been. The lowest since the last attempt at losing weight is 215. I regained it all back, but the yo- yo diets will do that. Beware of the yo-yo diets. Their program is something that is designed around clean and organic foods. There is always a little wiggle room and substitutions for their food programs.. Not a lot of meat products, but a few of the recipes I have had are really good .

My Goals:
1) To drop 93 pounds or so in 12 months or more ( Lose roughly 7 - 8 pounds per month)

2) To become stronger (more physically fit)

3) To eat better (prepare healthier foods and incorporate more fruits and veggies)

4) Not always focus on the scale victories. (Get down to size 20 pants by November, be able to take stairs with out getting my breath taken away. Put in a garden in the back yard.)


My Program:
To meet my goals:

June:

- Fitness Blender 4 weeks abs ( rest days will either be 2 mile walk or a fitness video)

-Fitness Blender 4 week omnivore plan (with some variations)

-Log all of what I eat even if I am ashamed to admit it.

-1 cheat meal every 2 weeks

- DRINK MY WATER!

I am from a little town in Montana. There is not a lot to do here. Well at least I think.

Outdoor activites:
Well i like the idea of hiking, but not unless there is a group of people and they all have guns to defend us from grizzly bears
Swimming! I love it. I only swim in one place in this little town. The lake in the mountain. The one here in the valley is full of swimmers itch. Nasty little buggers.
Running and walking. Well mostly wogging, not running really. Hurts my knees a lot, but thank God He gave man the awesomeness of icy hot.

Hi Lehia,

I added you as a spark friend as well. Please feel free to try my goal board idea, it's not stealing, its borrowing inspiration ;) . Mine is a magnetic dry erase board that sits right on my fridge. And if I go in the wrong way it's easy to re write the numbers. I use Spark people to track everything, I'm not using any particular fitness program, I'm going to the gym and trying to be as active as possible, starting slow. Your right it is a struggle. Happy Sparking.
