I'm a belly dancer, yoga teacher, henna artist, costume designer and hoop dancer.

I've been struggling with my weight all my life. I'm at my highest high at the moment and that is really rough. But I am determined to figure this whole thing out. I've done all the diets and eating plans. They all work.... once. I'm just like Daffy Duck with the Worlds Greatest Trick. I can blow myself up, but it only works once.

Leigh--how are you today?...thank you Lord it's Friday...I need a brk...just had 3 days off last week sure made this wk..long...now to look forward to the wkend...would usually go on a long bike ride....knock out 1200cals...need to find something else since it will prob. be to cold to ride...what do you suggest?...I have no indoor pool...I can't jog..ban knees and all..I guess I could double my walking still that won't be enough...that's a lot of walking....3miles..when I used to jog..it didn't seem like much..just a 5k..but to walk it seems like an eternity.......could do some video workouts..been doing some during my prep times..don't tell no one.haha..some are super tough and highly motivating....have a great Friday..and a super wkend...like to hear how it goes...rico emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

thank you for what you said on my blog....I knew somebody would get it and relate....I needed to hear that from someone other than in my own mind...I work out and my own family act like I'm going crazy..and I talk about eating better and they act like I'm an alien...or something...I will not be swayed. .I have to be stronger mentally than those around me...to keep going when it looks like noone else is with me....I remember the 1st time I was on sp.(outside of S.p.).I tried to talk healthier to others..and they wouldn't want to hear it...they will not be my focus this rnd...It's about me and how I feel...that's all we have in the end is how we want to look and feel, others can try to sabotage us but we are in charge of that to0..we can allow or not allow...I went to a church social once..supposed to be supportive ppl..and I do love each of them..but one elderly lady looked at me and said looks like your diets over...it won't last...while I was going through the food line...with that in mind..I have to eat extra carefully at functions like that because they tend to be the places I would normally overeat....like we ate chinese..yest..didn't want to but my wife did and I felt I could control my eating....ate 6 sushi.. I never eat them...looked healthy..dowsed them with hot spices...ate veg. and some meat..little rice...all on one plate..where before I would have went back for three servings of everything...that I liked....I felt good walking out...next day..a different feeling..my systems messed up...not good...so I already put a big...NO..to eating chinese for me...much at all....maybe I should have eaten more fruit..I didn't have any...loved talking to you...thanks for relating...Rico emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon


I DON'T LIVE IN TX....I HAVE MENTIONED AT ONE TIME I DID NOW I LIVE IN ARK...HAVE MOST OF MY LIFE...ALSO IN OR, TN, NJ...BUT NOW AND FOREVER....ARK.. emoticon
