Yep, had a great visit with everyone and was ready to get back to work.

Interesting on the surgery, sounds like it's less invasive but still as all surgeries requires recovery period, hope it continues to go smoothly.

Stay warm out there as we are sending frigid temps across the lake, zero and worse with the darn wind chills.

Go slow with that food so your tummy doesn't rebound and complain.

Hi. Hope you had a wonderful Holiday time & a very Happy New Year.
Yes, I'm at home recovering from my surgery. This was not really a difficult surgery, at all.
I never had any nausea or vomiting & took absolutely no pain killers. I had the sleeve gastrectomy surgery. There is one surgery that's "bigger" called the Rou-N-Y. Actually, I've been back to the Dr. for my post-surgery exam and he's begun to add back a small amount of sugar-free applesauce, plain greek yogurt and cottage cheese to my diet. I've lost 11 Lbs since I was in the hospital. I had the surgery on 12/28 & went home the next day. I think this is going to be very good for me and will help me to stay healthy thru my latter years.
I hope the holidays went well for you and that you had the opportunity to enjoy them with family and friends., emoticon

Have been caught up in the Holidays and finishing the big project that was the time consumer of 2016 for me. Wondered how the surgery went and hope you are home recovering and feeling better (I hear that can be quite the surgery to recover from).

Here is to a phenomenal 2017!

Hi. I knew right away what you were going to say. We've been hearing about the coming snow for some time now but it seems like the expected amounts of snow keep getting to be more and more. Where I live, we're supposed to have between 8 & 9" by Monday morning. Who knows what will actually happen. No matter what you say or do, you can't change the weather. Oh well, life will go on.
I am more or less looking forward to my surgery. I keep looking forward to feeling better and yes, the Dr. has told me all the meds that I currently take that he expects I will no longer need. That sounds really good to me.
Take care and be safe in the snow.

Thanks for the SP goodie. Unfortunately, unless it peters out over the Lake we will be sharing a lot more snow to come. Thats all that has been in the news the past three days. Starts Sat late afternoon, building through Sunday then freezing with even lower temps than currently in the 20's with windchills in the teens and lower....
Wishing you well on the upcoming surgery. Know a few people who have under gone the same procedure and have had great success as well as improved health (off medications etc). Wishing you a speedy recovery over the Holidays.
My current challenge is part of the Biggest Loser Team challenge which take 10 weeks to complete each one and runs season to season I think 4 a year as there are a couple of weeks between each challenge.
Stay warm the next few days as who knows what the Lake effect will bring!
