    You can do it - just build up slowly. I am impressed you run 6 days a week - my body will only allow me 3 days a week. I need to add a lot more cross training into the mix. With your 10K in November you are definitely on your way.

    Thanks so much for your nice comment on my blog! I just saw it. What you said is so true, the Lord will strengthen you! Today is the 5th day I have not had sugar. I haven't had much trouble with it really. I believe the Lord must be helping me a lot! How do you manage your sugar intake nowadays? Do you just allow a little or none at all? I'm trying to figure out what I will be able to live with forever. I think one dessert per week may suit me. How do you do it? Thanks again!

    I have had the most success with running since I started in April. I enjoy it which is very important and it is really making a change in my body. I starve if I eat 1500 calories. I try to get down that low on some days but never do, especially when I run.

    I have the same goal with the 10K by fall and a 1/2 one day ( I hope next year.) The trick with that one will be to find training time with 2 young kids so for now the focus is on the 10K by fall. I will probably end up doing my first 5K then also since its harder to find races in the summer but thats okay.
