I NEED CONSISTENCY!!

I wish so badly that I could say "I'M MOTIVATED TO LOSE WEIGHT" but that's not true! Each day is a struggle to make healthy choices and be active, but I know that I must do this. I think I will be moving much slower this time as I am not swearing off carbs, sugar or any other thing. I have lost weight and have gained back twice at this point. I want lasting results and am eager to learn how to really make it happen for the long run!

Hello there, wishing you a warm welcome to the Meditation and Mindulness Team.

Many of us have been yoyoers all our lives. I am 75 now and it is only since Spark - 6 years ago that I found a way of eating that I can use for the rest f my life. I would diet, regain, diet regain. Then I became disabled and it was all uphill from there on in.

Then I found Spark people through a dear friend who had just joined.

To me theprogramme is something that has to fulfil my needs or I will not stick to it long term. There are cettain foods I cannot touch as they set up a craving. If you have this problem if you dont already know, you will find out as you move on in the programme.

Wishing you every success in reaching and maintaining your goals.

Many people fall off from their goal-setting as a result of trying to do things too quickly and/or work on doing everything "at once" - this doesn't tend to work out well........smaller, "baby" steps have often worked better......
