Ruth's Corner of SP

I struggled with my weight much of my life. I knew that my main problem was constant eating--and while I've improved on that, I still sometimes have a problem with not stopping when I'm full or grazing when I'm bored. With the help and inspiration of my husband (fellow sparker ParadoxTxs) I've gotten a better handle on my eating, pushed myself harder in my fitness goals, and am currently in the best shape of my life at age 33.

With the help and inspiration of my husband (fellow sparker ParadoxTxs) I've gotten a better handle on my eating, pushed myself harder in my fitness goals, and am currently in the best shape of my life at age 33.

I want to keep learning and pushing myself, giving myself ongoing goals like improving my 5k times or maybe even someday completing a half-marathon, because it's not about the weight on the scale so much now, it's about challenging myself to improve my fitness little by little to keep myself motivated and happy.
