Lilray0sunshine is moving to the Lone Star State.
I am 32 and tired of being overweight. I have lost weight before; eighty pounds to be exact (insert golf clap here) and was super happy with my health but of course my weight loss was also due to a failed relationship and tons of free time to walk off the anger. Fast forward 7 years later and eighty plus pounds and I am back to where I started. I have a struggle with food and it seems that food always wins. My main goal is to figure out how to control my need for a piece of cake ...
I am 32 and tired of being overweight. I have lost weight before; eighty pounds to be exact (insert golf clap here) and was super happy with my health but of course my weight loss was also due to a failed relationship and tons of free time to walk off the anger. Fast forward 7 years later and eighty plus pounds and I am back to where I started. I have a struggle with food and it seems that food always wins. My main goal is to figure out how to control my need for a piece of cake or a great burrito and motivate myself to get back into the same shape I was before. I started Sparkpeople in March of 08 with great intentions of keeping myself on track. The first two months were great! I had lost 13 pounds and was feeling awesome. Then I lost my motivation to keep going. Every couple of months I would logon, check out some pages, note my nutrition and fitness points but never for more than a week or so. So, this is my plea, I need to lose weight in and I want to lose weight. I am tired of trying on clothes that don't fit. I am tired of telling myself that I will start eating and exercising starting "Monday" and I am tired of feeling miserable...

My Goals:
To change my "not-so-healthy-lifestyle: 1st: 218.5 (new sneakers) 2nd: 207.5 (new workout clothes) 3rd: 197.5 (haircut) 4th: 187 (new pair of jeans) 5th: 178 (Pair of Uggs) 6th: 169 (New clothes) 7th: 161 (Mani/Pedi) 8th: 152 (Spring clothes??) 9th: 145 (New summer clothes) 10th: 137 (Shop for wedding dress) 11th: 130 ???
My Program:
I plan on exercising at least 40-60 minutes per day and to eat more fiber and vegetables on a daily basis.
Personal Information:
I am currently a second grade elementary/5-8 grade computer teacher. I know, it's crazy. I live in rural Sussex County, NJ where there are plenty of farms and not enough paved roads... ; )
Other Information:
I'm a huge fan of music and love down loading new music to my Ipod. I love new technology and am a big fan of electronics.
