Here I am without the photo cropped totally (though I did edit out the oldest he is sitting on the bench with me at the time photo is from a little over a year ago)

Here I am (hair isn't totally fabulous but oh well) in the same pants and same size shirt as the pic of me looking thrilled on the bench... not done but better anyway!

Hi! Having tried and failed at ALL (yes from Richard Simmons & Jane Fonda at age 14 and since) failed at every diet and or program tried am going to succeed for once. Six years ago I was diagnosed with sciatica and went from a size 10 to 20....awesome two of me in one. I am getting better now and since mid July have lost 29 lbs. before joining spark. I found this the other day while searching for Power 90 reviews as i have just taken that up. I will add some pics later I am working up courage for the awful "before" pics!
UPDATE: I have taken the AWFUL pics (my daughter says they aren't so bad she is SO full of it). I am not going to put them here until there's some after pics to compare them to though, I am putting a pic of me in here though as soon as i find the camera cord I told my daughter not to lose.

July15th 2009 at least 240 lb. start I might have been more than that I haven't checked with my Dr's office on this one as they weighed me that day for a sciatica checkup

9/20/09 Joined spark weighed in at 211
made a couple mini goals 190 by my b-day
and 180 by new years day, I will not make
190 in the next couple days as I am 192 today
11/25/09 but I will still push for the 180 by
new years.

My Goals:
Goal upon joining SPARK: Basically my biggest of all my goals is to get healthier and to feel good about myself.
New Goal: at least jog a 5k I am training for this one now with intervals!
I will add my new goals as I decide that I want or need a new one to keep myself growing and progressing in my journey.

My Program:
After walking all summer long (power walking up to 7 miles a day) I am stepping it up adding in weight training routines. I am doing well with the P90 ,stepping that up to level 3-4 as of Dec 06 and have started "Couch 2 5 K" program, between the two I think I am starting to see some good progress and definition! Though right now the scale seems a little more stagnant that it was I am seeing definite inches lost and my clothes fit way better, though YES I am guilty of letting that stupid # get to me and get me down at times.

Personal Information:
I live near Rochester NY, have 3 kids and one very grumpy kitty!

Other Information:
I love to quilt knit crochet and do just about anything crafty. I have three kids who are forced to get healthy (kicking and screaming at times) right along with me! There has been screaming lately but it is working everyone is starting slowly but surely to walk with me and not complain as much about all my healthy snacks instead of the "JUNK" they crave! Go Me.

Hope you don't mind the friend add. I saw you on the calorie cycling team, and saw we have close to the same start weight and goal. Maybe we could encourage each other along to reach our goals in 2011.
