No regrets for what you can't change.

The 3 C's of life: choices, chances and changes ~ You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.

The first quote keeps me focused. What I've done in the past can't be changed. So move on.

We must make choices that will change our life/way of thinking. It can be "chancy". But if we don't, nothing will ever change.

This is what I try to live by.......

Hey Pat Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. Yup I am planning on selling in about a year. My oldest is moving to the Carolinas and I am planning on going with her. My youngest will be in her last year of school and plans on joining us or going to Calif. to continue her education. This house is just too big and too much for me to take care of anymore and I just don't want to be continually cleaning rooms we don't use (sad when you are dusting bathrooms). Not to mention the taxes here are killing us.

Other than that not much is happening, just trying to get the garden back under control as I am only getting out there - yikes lots of weeds.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

LOVE the Garden Choo-Choo picture.
Those sure are two cute engineers :-)
Hope you enjoyed your trip to Shipsee.

Seems like life here is running at some warp speed a lot of days. But trying to take time to enjoy things anyway.

Work was a little slow and I was wondering what I would do until year end .. and then a new project hit that has to be done by year-end and now it's crazy. Alan's mom has been in and out of the hospital 3 times since we visited her Mother's Day. I guess you know how that goes.

Got the veggie garden planted (late, but still in) And have been to the beach several times this month already. SIS and BIL will be in from Vegas on Saturday and staying for a week ... so that will be fun! We are planning a dolphin watching cruise, a trip to St. Michaels for a lighthouse tour. And a tour to some micro-breweries and vineyards/wineries. Other that that, mostly relaxing and enjoying.

Hope your Summer is kicking off to be something amazing
