I love your goal of being healthier at 60 than at 50! We can get stronger as we get older! Who knew?

Hi! Greetings returned from the GSE (Gulf Southeast)!

How is the weather lately. It looks to be a nice summer this year in the PNW according to our weather experts, which do not impress me. Usually the country map they show has a permanent cloud with dripping rain on it over the PNW and I know that isn't true so I don't believe half of what they say and they gloss over it real quick when they manage to change the icon from a dripping cloud to a sun, which irritates me no end. Apparently they think no one here gives a rip about the PNW or Seattle area. I keep saying I'm going to call someone and throw a fit, but I never do.

So what have you been doing lately? Anything fun? Hope you are still being successful on your plan, even if it is not what you want, to just lose a pound here and there and not gain it back is a success in my book. I am still losing - very slowly. But a Gallbladder removal has changed me so totally. I can no longer eat most cheese - fat content and I have to be careful on the fat content.

Went to lunch at a seminar I went to yesterday and I am not a lasagna lover, but this place is renown for it's Italian food. Took a bite and loved it. At it all, nice portion - not too big, but the cheese was so well hidden that I didn't even think about cheese in lasagna. Talk about asleep at the wheel. Besides meat sauce and noodles, what's in lasagna anyway - CHEESE!

I don't know - maybe I secretly thought it was mozzerella with part skim milk. Anyway, got home, felt like my gall bladder had grown back and was causing me problems. Several hours later, I'm in the bathroom leaning over the toilet. I'll never eat lasagna again!

Haven't had pain like that since they took the thing out last year.

Other than that, leading a boring life and if it weren't for the goals I was working on, I am not sure I would be happy. So onward and I'm smiling a lot.

Have a great one!
