I AM A 50+ WOMAN IN NEED OF MOTIVATION. I'M HAVING THE WORST FAST WEGHT GAIN OF MY LIFE. I AM RELATIVELY SURE OF BEING ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH MY GOAL. BUT I READ MORE THAN I DO. EVENTUALLY I WOULD LIKE TO BE A MENTOR BY BEING A GOOD EXAMPLE AND NOT JUST A TALKER.

HI LINDYLU!
Getting started is the hardest part! The best way to avoid over doing it is to journal everything! Don't let yourself make desisions on the spur of the moment. Also, don't be surprised if it takes a while to see a difference. I've noticed in my family when it takes a long time to get results, the longer they last when they acctually happen.
Finally, you're right. Strength is the key to everything:)

Thanks for the comment!! I couldn't believe she walked over and gave me a bag of pound cake!! A month ago she told me I needed to lose weight and stop eating junk food. I don't know what the deal was. I think she was being nice, but at the same time not! Still working on trying to give it away!
