My little old man, This was when Buddy was 15 yrs old. He died in Oct. 2013 at 18 yrs old.

I am losing weight for health reasons. I am losing weight for my confidence. I am getting control of my nutrition and fitness. I am getting control of my life. This time, something feels different. I feel as though the "work" is easier, and our fitness and nutrition seems different this time around. I have been distracted from my weight loss goals, but I am back to get back on track. I may not have reached my weight, social, education, and career goals yet; but I am always striving to get there, even though it is taking me longer than I think it should. I am enjoying life and I am thankful for every new day.

My Goals:
There are so many things I want to do in order to turn my life and attitude around.

Getting in shape and losing a few pounds is my main goal. I feel as though all of my other goals in life will be easier to obtain if I feel comfortable in my own skin.


My Program:
I know it will take time to meet my goals. I am not giving myself a time limit.
I plan to:

FITNESS:
1) Stay determined.. Stick with my exercise routine and challenges.
2) Continue to make small changes to achieve and keep a healthy lifestyle.
3) Continue to walk at least 10,000 per day.
4) Continue taking daily walks/runs.

NUTRITION:
1) Tack all my food intake.
2) Continue to learn to listen to my body.
3) Drink between 8-10 glasses of water per day.


MENTAL:
1) Gain a positive self image in order to be happier and healthier.
2) Continue to work on controlling my OCD and anxiety disorder




Personal Information:
I am a married college graduate living in Greeley with my husband. I went to college in Greeley, Colorado and back for my husband's job, and for a change in pace.

Favorite TV shows:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, LOST, NCIS

I love reading. I have too many books to list. My favorite authors are: JRR Tolkien, RA Salvatore, Oscar Wilde, JK Rowling.

My husband and I enjoy video games. We currently play a lot of Diablo and FIFA,

I will always enjoy theatre, both working on shows and seeing them.

    Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    I know what you mean, it can be so hard to change our lives when those around can pile on the pressure.

    We have to learn to honor our bodies and love them enough to give them the best care.

    There once was a woman at a social function who said to me, "You shouldn't be eating that if you are on a diet." I told her, "I'm not on a diet. You must have misunderstood my lifestyle. Let's eat."

    I decided that day that no one was ever again going to get away with telling me what, when, or how much I should eat. I'll get downright snarky about it if I'm pushed.

    I love my body. I can say that while standing stark naked in front of a mirror. That's something that I'll bet 90% of people in our culture cannot do. If you can do that and mean it, you'll take good care of it -
    and you won't allow anyone to interfere with it.
