LONG entry... read what you want! Hi! Ladies! Our THXgiving was everything my Mother-in-law wanted! She is 94, so she got what she wanted. A formal dinner at her home. She set the table with all the trimmings! China & crystal. In a time when we all take shortcuts, it was fun being together in a way that doesn't happen very often! The only thing missing were our hats & gloves. Truly beautiful! She bought a dinner made & delivered by a grocery store. We all brought the extras. I made a HUGE very green salad with avocado, toasted walnuts & cranberries, dried. I made a poppy seed dressing , but served with a spoon, so people could add as they wanted. DH brought a mince pie. from Marie Calendars, (her favorite), I found a piece in my mouth, I wonder how that happened, LOL. I'm up a # but back to reality today. No worries
11-25-16 As our world goes shopping, we are staying home & being grateful of all the things in our lives. DH & I have decided to give away some of our treasured things to our families & friends, this year. With a note telling them where it came from originally & WHY we felt it is the perfect 'thing' for them. We have enjoyed them for years, now someone else, can too! Today I get to do Sheppard Pilates DVD & just 'be' with it & feel the stretches. Also walking LADY LUCY THE WOUNDROUS CIRCS DOG. She didn't get to go out yesterday, we traveled to family for Thanksgiving & didn't home till after dark. It is a beautiful day here in the South West. I'm looking forward to the fresh air!!!!!
