Look for the silver lining.......

The next twenty plus years will define my life more than the prior 60. I quit smoking 8/29/2010. I DID IT!

I can't change the past, but I have learned I can change. I retired and moved back to Colorado. I kept my body monitor and joined the YMCA. I can and will do this for me! I want to be healthy, happy and giving the best life I can! Getting out of a toxic work environment was the best move I've made in a very long time.

So excited to be living my dreams in ...

Hi, Girlfriend! A big "YES!" to ordering another Diet Chef hamper. They give you 21 days to quit and return what's left or decide to continue and I'm in for twelve weeks (two more hampers), and most likely, more. I've got at least 50 more lbs to lose. And just so you know, this program is real food - my second hamper has less of the questionable "frankenfoods." No shakes, and only two protein bars, just in case I'm in a situation where I can't get lunch. The really nice thing about this program is that I can customize my hampers to exactly what I like. My 28th day is this Monday - I will weigh again and see how much progress I've made. My clothes are definitely looser, and at last count, I'd lost 12 lbs. - The only real drawback I can see is if someone gets bored with pretty much the same food choices every week. LOL, I can live with it, especially since it's working! emoticon

Thank's for tip with that pasta dish - the green beans will work, and if it's to "mushroomy" I'll probably put some cooked, sliced chicken in it!
