Hi Everyone! My name is Linda and have 122 pounds to lose to put me in a normal weight range. What the final weigh loss will be depends on how I feel & look. The most important thing is I must be comfortable with myself. I guess my title page says it all. I have been a member off and on for a few years now. It is time I hold myself accountable and get serious about losing weight. I am tired of yo yo dieting. I am really tired of the way I look and feel. I am fearful of developing heart disease or diabetes which runs in our family. I am now pre diabetic but the doctor said I can change that with weight loss. I lack discipline, self control and perseverance. But that is O.K. I am here to learn. When I think of my goal it puts a BIG SMILE on my face! I know when I lose the weight I will have more energy and my self esteem will soar! I know it's going to be a long road but I AM GOING TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME! I'm in this for the long haul. Their seems to be so much help on the site that I know in my heart I will succeed! My short team goal is to leave Twoterville & enter into Onederland in 2018. I can do it! I will do it! I believe in myself. I'm not a quitter!

Thank you for your comment on my page, Linda. Weight Watchers is indeed working for me... there's something about counting points that just clicks for me -- I'm not sure why it's different than counting calories, but obviously something is different! I also made up my mind. I think there is more determination this time around and that is what makes the difference.

I have no doubt that you will be catching up to me! Stay focused, show yourself grace and just keep on keeping on. The secret really is simple, isn't it? Just never give up! You got this! I look forward to following your journey.

It's not too late to think of creative ways to refresh your weight loss goals/experience for the New Year. Proceed to move out of your comfort zone so can grow as you try something new. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas Holiday with family and friends!

    emoticon Silver Bells emoticon
    Bing Crosby, Carol Richards
    Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
    Ring-a-ling, (ring-a-ling) hear them ring (ting-a-ling)
Soon it will be Christmas day
    City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
    Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas
    Children laughing, people passing
    Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear
Silver bells, (silver bells) silver bells (silver bells)
It's Christmas time in the city
    Ring-a-ling, (ring-a-ling)
Hear them ring, (hear them ring)
Soon it will be Christmas day
Strings of street lights, even stoplights
    Blinkin' bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures
Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch
    This is Santa's big day
And above all this bustle you hear
Silver bells (The corner Santa Claus)
Silver bells (Is busy now because)
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, it fills the winter air
Hear them ring, you hear it everywhere
Soon it will be Christmas day
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks (Silver bells)
Dressed in holiday style (Silver bells)
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas (It's Christmas time in the city)
    Children laughing, people passing (Ring-a-ling)
Meeting smile after smile (Hear them ring)
Very soon it will be Christmas day emoticon
