Hi Everyone! My name is Linda and have 122 pounds to lose to put me in a normal weight range. What the final weigh loss will be depends on how I feel & look. The most important thing is I must be comfortable with myself. I guess my title page says it all. I have been a member off and on for a few years now. It is time I hold myself accountable and get serious about losing weight. I am tired of yo yo dieting. I am really tired of the way I look and feel. I am fearful of developing heart disease or diabetes which runs in our family. I lack discipline, self control and perseverance. But that is O.K. I am here to learn. When I think of my goal it puts a BIG SMILE on my face! I know when I lose the weight I will have more energy and my self esteem will soar! I know it's going to be a long road but I AM GOING TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME! I'm in this for the long haul. Their seems to be so much help on the site that I know in my heart I will succeed! My short team goal is to leave Twoterville & enter into Onederland in 2017. I can do it! I will do it! I believe in myself. I'm not a quitter!

My Goals:

1)Get back to Onederland & 190ville ASAP!

3)185 lbs. No longer obese!
5)176 lbs. That will be a loss of 100lbs.

My Program:
Lowfat Diet

1) Stay within 1200 to 1500 calories.
2)Weigh daily (accountabitity)
3)Give myself a pep talk daily.
4)Increase fiber intake.
5)Eat fresh fruit, vegetables, lean meat and fish.
6)Portion Control: weigh & measure food.
7)Track my food. Very Important!
8)Consistency when it comes to exercise.

I have two daughters Holly and Barbara. Two granddaughters Amanda and Brianna. Wonderful husband Paul.I like go for hikes, nature walking, camping, gardening, reading, & cross stitching.

Other Information:
I AM GOING TO FINISH WHAT I STARTED :) Been off track for a while now. It's time to get back to Onederland. All my spark friends are now in 170ville or lower. It makes me sad that I could be their now! I refuse to give up! In 2017 I will write my success story! It will be my new beginning, my re-dedication to finish what I started. I will be successful, I WILL cross the finish line. Someday I will be able to say "I DID IT"
It's a one way road from now on!!!

    I started my food log over the weekend and can see why I started gaining again. emoticon
    It's going to be tough the first two weeks getting the bad food out of our bodies, but we can do it!

    LINZEE118 Thx for your question! A Daytimer is a yearly 'calendar' that comes as little wired bound booklets. Mine is a 1 page per day. There are 6 booklets,(2 months each) they also have extra pages you can add in if you need more space. Mine are 'pocket' sized. About $40.00 on their site This system has worked for me for MANY years. There are monthly calendars, yearly calendars a place for expenses, etc. I decorate each booklet with pretty stickers or photos or accomplishments for the month. It's SO fun & creative for me. Hope it helps! I should be a spokesperson for them! But as the world goes electronic, they are not as popular as there were when I started!

    Hey Linda, thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I can't say enough about sparkpeople. It has really helped me reach my goals. Even though it shows I've started over on logging in, it is because I logged in after midnight in either December or November. I have logged in everyday for over two years. And tracked my food and fitness all those days. I hope you are doing well and congratulations on losing over 50 pounds!
