Lisa's Weight-Loss Journey

I started using Spark People in the summer of 2007 and managed to lose 40 pounds in 5 or 6 months. Accomplishing an important goal like that really helped change the way I saw myself and life.

I'm still using Spark People to help me try and stay on track, hold myself accountable, and keep implementing good habits.

My Program:
I have no set program. Too many "rules" always end up making me want to rebel against them. So instead I'm just trying to learn self control and consistency. I don't intend to deprive myself for the rest of my life, so why would I do it for a few months in order to lose weight?
Here's to a new me for LIFE!

Personal Information:
I looove to eat, especially out at fancy restaurants. I also love high calorie desserts (and i hate to share them! hehe).
I'm constantly setting goals and never reaching them, or making plans that I always give up on. This time will be different and it will be the last time I ever go through this!
I want to reach my goals now and still look just as good after kids, menopause, w/e! haha
