This time I will make this work!

As a person who has been on the diet nightmare for most of her life, I think I have finally had the mental click to make this work this time.

This past year has been one of many changes for me. New job, loss of a dear family member, and moving back closer to home. During this, I have reached my heaviest weight. I don't know how I let things get so out of control, but I am ready more than ever to fix this and to healthy and happy. It's going to be hard work, but its an effort ...

My Goals:
Run a 5k in June (completed 6/2/13)
3.5 mile run in September (completed 9/15)
Color Run in October
Run a half marathon in October (completed 10/13/2013)



My Program:
Eating between 1400 and 1780 calories a day. Working out between 5 to 6 times a week with cardio and strength training.
Drinking at least 10 glasses of water a day.
Keeping up a healthy attitude!

my HM training is going GREAT - i took the plunge and signed up for a running room training clinic, which i LOVE! it keeps me accountable - we run together 3 times a week, and then are encouraged to run another 2 days a week on our own. its only the 3rd week and i have noticed huge improvements already :)

i just came across your page and saw that we have lots in common - i too am training for a half marathon in october, and i unfortunately got to my heaviest weight last summer by packing on pounds due to a move, a sad loss, and going back to school. keep up the great work! :)
