Wishing you and the "Fuzzy Beast" an awesome holiday. Sounds like you have a great plan. I do get 4 days off, and I need them. Wouldn't it be wonderful to spend all four days in my jammies watching Turner Classic Movies and taking naps? It'll just be me and Mom and Dad (natch), so we'll either do burgers, pizza, or go out for a turkey dinner at one of the local restaurants. What happened to our family? We used to all get together for a huge meal, all three of us kids, the grandkids, their boyfriends, some family friends, a neighbor or two. Now it's just us 3, and my folks are lucky to get a card or a phone call from the others on holidays. Sad. But, we accept it, we create our own slice of heaven, and we move on.
Gotta go pick up Dad - if I don't get him away from Mom today she might hurt him. He's really getting on her nerves. I feel for both of them. She can't get away from him and her patience is pretty much GONE. I took him yesterday for a hair cut and a drive through the country. Today we're going grocery shopping and picking up lunch. Anything to give her a break. Please pray for us. Praying for you, my friend! Hugs.
See .... great minds DO think a like!!! You know -- life never changes, there's always the panic and anticipation no matter what it is. Our minds racing like we're on the Autobahn -- but somehow we manage to live through it -- in spite of ourselves ... LOL!!
I'm not a slipper person, that's why I ended up with the non-slip socks. But then again - it's not like you'll be tearing up the halls , BUT we do want you safe!!! So pack those slippers - lol!
Oh you go to Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada . Atlantic Canada is like saying the midwest states etc. Atlantic provinces are Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. They are on or in the Atlantic Ocean. Part of new Brunswick attaches to Maine. So it is still cold and windy here, we have no snow here, but parts of the province still do. Waiting on spring to really arrive! lol HUGS
