I grew up very thin, always the "skinny girl", and all of that changed in my mid twenties. Now in my mid thirties, I would like to be that "skinny girl" again, but more importantly, I want to be healthy. I had a sweet baby boy March 14, 2012. As of 3 weeks after delivery I had already lost 30 pounds. I eventually lost all of the pre-pregnancy weight, (which I was still overweight), but at least I fit into most of my clothes. A few months after I gained back over ten pounds. I am now the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I would love to not only lose the rest of the weight, but get to a healthy and fit weight for myself! I want to be able to keep up with my son.
I would love to be back to my size 4 self, but that is unrealistic right now. My main goal is to lose 40 pounds, and be healthy.
I am currently doing the jazzercise, and will eventually take on Supreme 90 day challenge again. As the summer approaches, I will be swimming several days a week.
Mother, Daugher, Sister, Wife, Aunt, Teacher...I wear many roles, but the one I hope to claim in the future is Conqueror--to win over the weight and be the person I want to be.
I am an avid reader, and Mary Higgins Clark is my favorite author. I also crochet baby blankets, and love to relax with my hubby on our patio!
