    Hiya! I'm glad you added me as a friend. :) I have to say dairy reduction was super hard for me at first. I love milky tea and coffee, and of course enjoyed all the other dairy stuff (cheese, ice cream, etc). I did it while doing the "Forks Over Knives" thing - completely plant-based. I made my own almond milk and used coconut cream in my coffee, or just had it black. But honestly being 100% plant-based is too restrictive for me so I stopped. What I did notice though is that I can no longer eat dairy like I used to. So I still have it in tea and coffee but that's pretty much it. If I do eat ice cream I feel gross! Occasionally cheese but even that is pretty limited.

    I would recommend checking out the "Oh She Glows" website. She is vegan and has amazing recipes that I use all the time. All dairy free. Almond milk is definitely a good substitute in recipes. She also uses cashews to make creamy bases for foods that require it, but of course it's pretty high cal.
