Hi there, thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I am an opera singer and private voice teacher who loves great food and fine wine but not the extra pounds that I've been basically ignoring since getting married - my "happily ever after" weight.

I strive to find the balance of enjoying food without the guilt of 'watching what I eat'. Life is too short. I want to spend my minutes with happy thoughts, not, 'how long do I have to work out to get rid of that?'.

That said, my biggest challenge is always fitting in time to exercise.

My Goals:
* Loose my "happily ever after" weight and keep it off.

* Adopt healthy changes that stick.

My Program:
*Keep my calories to 1,200 a day, just like Spark suggests : )

*Fill up on more veggies!

*Take the time to prepare balanced meals, not eat
"whatever" on the run.

*Drink lots of water and cut back on coffee.

*Move my body every day for 30 minutes, no less than 10 minutes.

* Get to bed between 10 & 11 every night and start my next day with some sort of fitness.

Personal Information:
I am originally from NY but currently call NC home.



Other Information:
Give opera a chance! Most people find that once they see one live, they really like it!

I am addicted to reading fashion magazines and cook books.

I Google anything and everything.

I can spend hours at CVS and not buy one thing.
