I recently turned 40 and lost 40! :) Over the past year and a half have lost about 45 pounds from changing my eating habbits and working out.

I am a teacher and as the school year started I really struggled with making exersize a part of my daily routine. I continued eating well which kept me from gaining weight back, but over the holidays I have really fallen off track with my eating as well.

My wonderful husband cleaned out the basement (there was more stuff than you can imagine down there...think "Hoarders, burried alive!" Anyway, I feel a weight has been lifted since he did that. I can now get to my exersize bike and plan to ride it for 20 minutes at least 4 times a week. I am also hoping to get back on track doing Jillian Micheal's Body Revolution which is four days a week. The third part of the plan is to get back on track logging in food, or at least writing it down during the week in a journal and logging it onto the computer on the weekend.

My Goals:
1.) I will keep track of my food in a food journal and record it at least once a week on Spark people. (more often if time allows.)
2.) Bike 20 minutes 4 times a week.
3.) Complete all 3 phases of JM BR!!!! (Even if it takes me more than 90 days!)

My Program:
1.) Biking 4x/wk 20 min
2.) JMBR 4x/wk
3.) Eat clean, healthy, and mindful.

Personal Information:
I am from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I have two children ages 10 and 13 that keep me very busy! I teach middle school language arts and I LOVE to read but rarely have the time to do so! (I listen to books on CD on my way to and from work)

Awe, thank you. This one was a little too close to home. The prognosis is not good. And you were so so sweet to understand about spending time with DSH. How are you doing? I think I'm going to check in every so often...I need to! When does the next round start, do you know?

emoticon panic attacks are awful. My mom had them while in college. I have had anxiety issues myself and I do try to head them off at the pass...not easy...

Glad you made it through the day. Do you know what trigger it? You don't have to say...sometimes if I don't sleep enough...it will make me paranoid and edgy. Hope your evening is better.

One of my students with autism must put his binder on his head today in science and started sobbing. The stress from state testing is getting to him. He has to take the PARCC test next week too.

Hang in there...I am here to listen.

It's been a week...sorry I didn't respond to your note on my page sooner. Sigh. But the Indian event just ended. I'm very organized, but I eat to cope when it's like this. So I feel awful. Grumpy, lumpy and dumpy! Ready to reboot.

How a you? Did you have a good week?

Earthquake was just a little shaker...no me had any damage. Thank you for checking. But this past week has been a roller-coaster! I'm ready to get my eating back in check and have a few boring dull days. Ha!
