Lovin My Life

Working, living and loving every day. Life is a little bit of a struggle sometimes. But overall it is pretty good. I am a mom, a grandma, a school social worker at two different middle schools, a pescetarian and a wife. I wanted to be a Buddhist but I kind of sucked at it. This summer I was awesome healthy. I am a mom, a grandma, a school social worker at two different middle schools, a pescetarian and a wife. I wanted to be a Buddhist but I kind of sucked at it. This summer I was awesome healthy. I exercised every day, I used my Fitbit and Sparkpeople religiously. School started and Bam! Down the rabbit hole I went. Exercising and healthy eating are a challenge right now. I am getting back on track. Dreaming of going into private practice, living off the grid and homesteading someday. Hoping to live a healthy, fit and authentic life were I have more control over my food supply, my energy supply and most importantly my own time!

My Goals:
To be healthy, happy and well balanced. To help others be healthy and happy.

My Program:
I burn 500 plus calories per day by walking. I am looking to ad some cardio and strength training soon. I eat between 1400 and 1800 calories per day. I use my Fitbit and a Striiv to make sure I get 10,000 steps and five miles per day.

Personal Information:
I am from Ada, MI. I am a clinical social worker. I have a beautiful husband. We have three sons, two daughters and a granddaughter between us.

Other Information:
I love books. I love Buddhism. I love eating organic, healthy, real food. I love the Slow Food Movement. I love journeys of self discovery, moments of being connected and one with all living things, divine inspirations and chocolate! :)

Thanks! I've been working hard at staying active. I work at the computer most of the day so afterwards I just want to move. Pushing a bit to fight on the effects of Menopause....LOL
