My new goal for March and April is to get back on the exercise track still including the walking because my friend and I will be in the car for 15 days in May and only am tai chi will be the source of comfort. Planning to eat from a cooler (fruits and veggies) while traveling is a must; so March and April need to be exemplary. I AM CAPABLE.

My Program:
Fitness 3-5 times per week - either a class, dragon boating or walking group. Using the meal replacement shake from herbalife helping me forego the 'cravings'!

Personal Information:
Grew up in Montreal, university in New Brunswick, work and education in the Maritimes. Work in Ontario and BC where I now live in Vancouver. One brilliant son got a new job in Dallas!

Other Information:
Hunger isn't necessarily for food!

When I am tired, I am hungry for sleep.
When I am thirsty, I am hungry for liquids.
When I am feeling down, I'm hungry for support.
When I am feeling lonely, I'm hungry for people.

Don't eat food when you need friends, or fluids, or sleep!!! Recognize what your hunger actually is for, and satisfy it with what it is craving.

thanks for the welcome Turtle and Willow! I've found that I enjoy going to the team and checking out how people are dealing with their challenges. Very helpful. I've noted a re-start since I got back from a short vacation. Too going when you are not used standing up for yourself! emoticon
