The time has come to get it DONE!!

I've come to the point in my life I want more, I want to live my life, not just muddle my way through it. I want to be in control of my emotions and what goes in my mouth. I want my weight to be at a healthy level and I want to be DONE being the fat girl~

UPDATE - 1/7/2014 - My goal in 2013 was to end the year weighing less than I did at the beginning of the year. During the year I lost another 45 lbs. but again, fell off the wagon in the fall and holidays, but the good thing is ...

UPDATE - 1/7/2014 - My goal in 2013 was to end the year weighing less than I did at the beginning of the year. During the year I lost another 45 lbs. but again, fell off the wagon in the fall and holidays, but the good thing is I ended the year 20 lbs. less than what I started with. So this year I plan to be down again at the end of the year. When I look at pictures of myself from 3 years ago, I can a huge difference!

Update *1/16/13* - In 2012 I lost (with SP's help) 50 lbs. I did gain some back during the fall through the holidays, but at least I started out 2013 less than I was a year ago. Now it's time to get down to business. My goal is to lose 100 lbs. this year. I plan to use any tool I can to stay focused to reach my goals. I've already made changes in my life. One being to rid or remove negative or drama thriving people in my life. I realized that these type of people were not supportive and were draining my energy and my positive thoughts. I have made, and will continue to make changes in my life. I have dreams and want to achieve those dreams and realized if I want a different outcome in my life, I can't continue to do the same things, in the same way over and over and expect a different result. So 2013 I'm going to take you by storm and I get excited thinking about what this year has in store for me!

Update *12/27/2011* - Since I've been back on SP (Oct. 2011) I've re-lost 25 lbs. I'm looking forward to a New Year and a New Me in 2012. Next short term goal - to lose the next 25 lbs. by April 1, 2012.

My Goals:
To become fit and lean again. I know I need to lose over 100 lbs. but I'm not sure exactly what my goal weight should be. I just want to feel good, have plenty of energy and be able to do the things I want to do without my weight holding me back.

My Program:
I follow the South Beach Program (AKA Life Style Program), I keep a food journal and workout 3-4 days a week.

I try to surround myself with positive people that have similar goals.

Personal Information:
I am a Christian, southern woman, loyal friend, hard worker, honest and love life. I live north of Atlanta GA.

I have 2 grown children that are married, 4 wonderful grandchildren and love spending time with them whenever possible.

I would like to one day raft the Grand Canyon! Love to camp, spend time on the lake or hike. Love going to the beach in the summer and the mountains in the fall and winter. Thankfully both are within a few hours drive.

Other Information:
I'm a positive person and choose to surround myself with positive people that have similar goals.

"Aspire to inspire before you expire" is my favorite quote.

Thanks for the blog comment. I got tired of fighting about 2 years ago! Which is probably why I've put on 35 lbs since then!! But I'm not giving up, just taking an extended break from working hard on my weight. Very extended at this point :)

Thanks for the blog comment. Last week was crazy, but this weeks has been just as crazy, just in different ways. I'm hoping to post a loss, but not hopeful that it will happen :) Congrats to you on getting rid of those 7 "new" lbs, I'm sure they will very soon be followed by some of the original lbs. that you want to get rid of!
