a) Its Juy 2014 and I'm back at it AGAIN! ! Currently walking 4 miles each cardio session. Hope to do it at least 4 days per week and alternate with weightlifting on off days. c) Trying to drink 64 ozs of water a day. Easier to do it seems during the summer! d) This last one is the toughest... trying to cut down on sugar and sweets (really, really difficult!)

hi, Larry! it's been a couple of months and I've just made another blog entry. i noticed you commented on my blog entry from last year. thank you SO much for your words and encouragement. my mother and i have since spoken - with some major meltdowns along the way - and i'm able to put things into perspective and somewhat allow her to be her. the roles are hard when you are living under one roof, but i'm in a different, more determined space now. but you made some interesting observations about fear in her and fear in myself.
so thank you for taking the time. and just so you know, i am a writer and have a few blogs. writing as a profession is in my near future. so i thank you for that encouragement!

I saw you comment on the panhandle page, I too am starting over, and just wanted to give you a note and see how it has been for you. I have struggled all my life with weight. Did great abour 5 years ago lost a great deal, and felt great, then back to where I was - then some. So starting over is not so bad... just have to find some inspiration. Hope you are well.
