Long story short.... Got engaged, lost 60 pounds... Got married, gained back 10 in a year. Sooooo I'm right back at it, but with a slightly more relaxed attitude.

My Goals:
Get to a weight between 135-140, and adapt a permanant healthy lifestyle that involves being active more days than not, as well as eating fruits/veggies more often than not!

My Program:
Get in 20+ minutes of cardio that makes me sweat about 5 times a week. Eat between 1200-1500 calories per day. LIMIT ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION!

Personal Information:
I am originally a corn fed gal from Iowa... I love meat and potatoes! My husband and I moved to South Carolina recently where its been so much easier to be fit and active with the perfect weather! My email is lmdorrell@gmail.com if anyone has any questions for me!

I read your "I exceeded my wedding weight-loss expectations" and it made me cry. It was so inspirational to read. I just joined Spark People and I have a year long goal but I am planning on staying on this healthy journey for life. I am also planning my wedding. I know I am getting healthier every day but I can't help but daydream about how great I will look and feel in my wedding dress a year from now. Nothing could make marrying the love of my life better that doing it in a fitter, healthier version of me (crying again) Thank you for your story. I know I will go back to it time and time again for strength and inspiration. emoticon
