On the Journey...
Everyday I'm becoming a better me. I have been overweight my entire life. I can't begin to imagine what I will look like at a normal weight, but I'm more than excited to get there. I have a lifetime of bad habits to break. And while I could use excuses like being a full-time student and employee as ways to rationalize my bad practices, I know that it's just a way to escape taking responsibility. So no more excuses. I want to be able to go to a regular store and buy clothes. I want to go to Six Flags and be able to ride any ride. I want to be comfortable and confident on my next plane trip instead of miserable and embarrassed because I'm crowding the other passengers. I want to be an inspiration to my parents to show them that they can lose weight too. I want to be as active as I imagine myself being. I want to be hungry for life, not food!

My Program:
I'm taking several different diet/ exercise plans and meshing them together. I've been doing the Couch 2 5K running program as well as the Flat Belly Workout walking video. I do my strength training based on Body For Life. My diet changes consist of mostly just eating more produce and lean meats and FAR LESS sweets. I'm sort of basing it on the Flat Belly Diet and You on A Diet. Essentially, I'm doing that age-old trick of eating foods that I know are healthy and drastically increasing my physical activity.

I'm KC. I live in Atlanta.
