Those who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, Isa 40:31

I have been here before, at SparkPeople, with my weight through the roof. I am a 60 year old woman, determined once again, with the help of God, to get healthy before it's really too late. I used to be fit and active, and somehow let it all get away from me and I'm paying the price. But I'm going to try again . . .

You asked about my flood. I lve on 2nd floor condo, pipes broke over 4th floor abandoned condo Jan 8 2014. Fire dept. kicked me out that day. Gone for 5 mos. Still had not emptied boxes from 2 nd bedroom. I'm 67, fat and handicapped it was killing me. Back to emptying boxes now. I have found so many things but no place to put them. I am giving away a lot but it still is requiring hauling it to my car and to Good Will. emoticon

I'm a little slow in responding to your thoughts about SparkTracker. I used to have an Omron and I loved it (loved it so much, that I "loved it to death"). So when SparkTracker came available, I decided I would try it.

My biggest problem with it is if you're wearing it on your bra (or somewhere else on your body because you're not wearing shoes that will securely hold the Tracker), it definitely doesn't record the correct number of steps.

Today I went to 2 church functions and obviously didn't want to wear my tennis shoes, so I attached it to my bra. When I got home I changed my clothes and went for a walk...forgetting to put the Tracker on my shoe. You guessed it....it's not recording the correct steps. So I think I'll also get an Omron again and use both.

Thanks for always being upbeat with regard to my blogs.
Gwen
