It was horrible to lose them. We lost both of our original chinchillas that we were so close too. The rest of them are their babies. We love all of them. Reekie and Bun were really young when we got them and we helped them raise all their babies. They had a wonderful family. You can imagine how much fun they had with 9 of them partying at night. They were wild and their wheeling was so noisy with 6 wheels going constantly. Now it is really quiet at night as the last 3 are old and 2 of them are sick. But we love them too and will take care of them until they are gone. Blocker and Porkie are getting more symptomatic. I hope hubby and I are up to an all day trip to st. Louis followed by lots of work taking care of them if they make it.
I bought my GF's kitty a feather on a sting connected to a wand and she loved that thing. I had such fun playing with her with it. I can picture Louie laying on that rug under the table. 2 days ago
I'm certain there must have been a reason for this extended period of illness. Maybe to give you a little more time to spend with him and to know that it was best for him to go. At least he had you to take care of him. I'm sure the vet will probably be approaching you soon to see if you would adopt another needy pet. People like you are special. Thanks for the prayers. Give Lily a hug for me. 3 days ago
