I just want to feel that i look good!

As i get older, i realise the reality of many things that i was told as i grew up - by family, friends, teachers, total strangers.

The world becomes less black and white and more grey... on most points anyway.

A sticking point with me is that people of a healthy weight ALWAYS look good.

They can wear a sack and have bucked teeth and greasy hair but they still look good, or at least look like not looking good is a deliberate decision they have made which ...

A sticking point with me is that people of a healthy weight ALWAYS look good.

They can wear a sack and have bucked teeth and greasy hair but they still look good, or at least look like not looking good is a deliberate decision they have made which can be easily rectified.

Either side of healthy and i can appreciate pleasant features but not the sex appeal.

I want sex appeal and while i am overweight, i cannot see the point in trying to look nice because i don't believe that i can do.

I am a happily married women, so it is just for my own self-confidence and not to flaunt anything.

I just want to feel happy in my own skin.

emoticon to the Spark People Family. To me, it is a family and the longer you're on here, and the more friends you make, you'll see why.

My name is Susan, and I've been a member since 8/1/09. I know how overwhelming everything can be at first, so just take your time to get comfortable with everything and don't get frustrated. Your SP CLASS teammates and leaders will be able to help you figure everything out.

Visit my Spark Page to learn more about me. I'm Co-Leader and Solo-Leader of five teams, the latest one being BEACHBODY BUDDIES, online fitness coach, and 2-time Spark People Motivator.

Feel free to contact me if you need any fitness advice.

I wish you all the best with your goals! emoticon

Hi there!!!
Welcome to SPARKpeople. We are quite a supportive bunch here. You've come to the right place, for sure.
My advice if you care to hear it, is take full advantage of all this site offers. The food and fitness trackers, starting your own sparkpage, making friends, joining teams, reading articles, blogging....
This is quite a journey we are all on -- no one has to go at it alone. Feel free to add me as a friend….I also have a very positive, up-beat, motivational team that has daily challenges to keep us excited about losing weight. Much of weight-loss is mental. Please check us out. (((( Sending SKINNY Vibes! ))))

Welcome to the gang, we are a very friendly & supportive group of Sparkers so come on in and feel at home here. Drop in for ‘A Natter’ anytime or check up our next Sunday Lunch get-together & come & meet up with us. We have just started meeting up with each other for the odd Sunday lunch, the first of which was in Telford, one was in Feb in Birmingham & the last one was in Nottingham in May..
Each year for the past 2 years, Pete (DH & also CATMAN124) & I have organised the UK Main Team Party in the Park at Coombe Abbey and although the gatherings have only been small so far, we are hoping that as an annual event, it will grow & grow. This year it will be on Saturday 24th July.
Much love
Jude x
UK Midlands Team Leader
