Move It to Lose It
I started this journey in January, and I have never stuck with an exercise program this long! So far I have walked over 100 miles, and have lost 10 pounds. And even though it's not always easy, I am so committed to this! I may have so bad days, but I am just going to keep on moving forward, and become a happier, healthier me!

My Goals:
After reaching 200 miles of walking, I decided to change things, and am riding my recumbent exercise bike. My first goal is to ride 150 miles. And I am well on my way to meeting that goal! :)
My Program:
I am stepping up my activity level, and making more conscious decisions when it comes to eating. My main exercise is walking, but I am also going to incorporate my exercise bike and hand weights.
Other Information:
I have lived in Iowa most of my life. I have been married to my best friend for 16 years, and we have 4 children. We lost our oldest son in December of 2012, and are trying really hard to put our lives back together after the unexpected loss. I love to walk, read, crochet, spend time with my family, and praising the Lord. I would really like to meet some new friends, and have a supportive group of people to help make this weight loss journey a little easier.
