I have been dieting since I was in 5th grade. After having two kids (1989 and 1993) I was close to 200 pounds. I got back down to 172, and stayed for years. At one point I was up past 180. At that point I went on The Cookie Diet!?! Very sad, my poor husband drove us down to Beverly Hills from The Valley just so I could buy these expensive stupid cookies! They didn't work...When I found Spark I was elated. It was all there. Because I had severe acid reflex disease, that came with horrible sore ...

They didn't work...When I found Spark I was elated. It was all there. Because I had severe acid reflex disease, that came with horrible sore throats I lost 30 pounds in 2012, without much trouble. And gained pretty much all of it back. Over the holidays I ate so much I just felt myself filling up with fat. I was very uncomfortable, not to mention sick from the bingeing. For me I am either gaining weight or losing it. My plan is 1200 calories a day, and 30 minutes of exercise. I started on January 1st. and hope that I will lose this year, and keep going, living a happier lifestyle. Will let you know how I'm doing!

My Goals:
To eat healthy food, and exercise 30 minutes a day. I am taking the entire year of 2016 to get down to a comfortable weight.

My Program:
My program is low carb. I am staying around 1200 calories, and drinking tons of water. Just found out if you drink more than 8 glasses and you are tracking it on Spark the glass overflows! Waking 3o minutes a day, trying to increase my speed.



Personal Information:
I live in Southern California in "The Valley". I have been married 27 years and have two children. I enjoy reading, walks in nature and long rides all around L.A. of course including the beach! We also try to go to Lake Balboa (in Encino Ca.) to watch the birds and see the sunset almost every night. :)

Thank you for the friend add! I'm enjoying how I feel on low carb so far. I was a little cranky this weekend and struggled with a headache about every other day last week. Hoping that the headaches are gone now! And of course that the crankiness is short term. This week is to continue improving on my exercise routine...fitting it in is tricky with 3 busy kids to run around but I'm working on it!
