Goals: Regain self-confidence and self-esteem through losing weight and getting in shape to be more active with my daughters and to show them the size me they never knew and to show them what dedication and persistence will accomplish.

My Goals:
1. Lose 37 pounds by my 53rd birthday, September 1st.
2. Get in shape with and for my athletic swimmer girl daughter and to get my younger one more active.
3. Make healthful eating and exercise such a part of my life that I don't even think about them.

My Program:
Nothing structured right now. No "plan" in place, no particular diet. I did start with a pedometer over a week ago and have not tried to walk more, just seeing what I normally walk each day, before I start the effort today, to get in 10,000 steps a day! Also, I will start, today, to drink my 8 glasses of water. I will do these two for at least a week or two before I add the next stage.

1. I have a bucket list - the number of items matches my age. Right now I have 52 things on it. I started when I had my 50/50 list, 50 things to do in my first 50 years. Since I didn't start the list until I was 49 there wasn't much time to get all or most of them done, but by my 50th, I'd accomplished 29 of them!
